Today Bravo announced that there are a new set of housewives on the block, the Real Housewives of Miami. Today the network release the Cast bio and promotional pictures as well as a preview of the season (seen below).
Bravo also announced today that they will be postponing the Real Housewives of New York season premiere until sometime later in the spring. The Real Housewives of New York was originally scheduled to premiere on February 15.
Today Bravo announced the cast for their new series, Real Housewives of Miami, which premieres on Tuesday February 22.
The cast of the Real Housewives of Miami will include:
Lisa Pippen wife of Scottie Pippen.
Alexia Echevarria executive editor of Venue magazine
Marysol Patton who owns her own PR firm, the Patton Group. Patton will be joined by her mother Elsa, who provides spiritual guidance to members of the community.
Cristy Rice a clothing store owner who recently divorced NBA star Glen Rice.
Lea Black a mother who is active in the charity circuit and an Obama supporter.
Adriana DeMoura-Sidi who is described by the network to be a newly engaged gossip.

It makes sense that Bravo would move forward with Real Housewives of Miami as soon as possible. Bravo is coming off a very explosive and record breaking season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and has also had record breaking moments with the Real Housewives of Atlanta this season. It’s a pretty smart move by Bravo to introduce their new series, Real Housewives of Miami, now as opposed to later. The February 22nd premiere date for the Real Housewives of Miami allows the network to capitalize on the momentum of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which is one of the most talked about seasons in the history of the Real Housewives franchise.
